Goodson is a family owned and operated Australian company with offices and warehousing throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Position Summary

Goodson Imports prides itself on providing the best technical support in the Australian and New Zealand POS industries. The technical support team offer telephone and email support for dealers and end users answering questions across the range from the most basic models to the networked touch screen system registers.

Essential Competencies
  • Advanced understanding of all SAM4S Cash register models and the programming and operations
  • Customer service training
    • Ability to talk to a wide range of people with varying language skills
    • Ability to understand and visualize a problem
    • Ability to explain programming sequences in simple terms
    • Ability to think creatively - through product knowledge you can combine various system parameters and settings to achieve the customers desired result
  • Advanced understanding of MS Office products
  • Sound knowledge of LAN/WAN/WiFi technologies
  • Ability to troubleshoot TCP/IP networking issues
  • Ability to provide support via remote control

Essential Experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience working in a similar environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
  • A customer-focused approach to meeting and exceeding client expectations
  • Ability to manage multiple phone calls and tasks at once
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • The ability work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Highly self-motivated, self-starter with a willingness to take on new tasks

Salary and hours

Monday to Friday 8:30-5:00
Location: Sydney
